Effective February 2026

At In The Money Retirement Planning, we offer flexible financial planning services.

That means we can go as deep — or stay as focused — as you need.

Some clients want a full, comprehensive retirement roadmap.

Others want help solving one specific problem — like Roth conversions, tax planning, Social Security timing, or preparing for a business sale.

You only pay for the planning you actually need. Nothing more.

Fee-Only. No Commissions.

I am a fee-only financial planner.

I do not receive commissions.
I do not accept referral fees.
I am not paid to recommend one product over another.

Transparent Pricing

How We Charge

Our pricing has two parts, depending on how you work with us:

1. Financial Planning Fee (Monthly) $99-$1,000

A flat monthly subscription for advice and strategy:

  • Retirement, tax planning, and cash flow

  • Business planning or exit strategy

  • Ongoing decision support

You’re paying for guidance—not products.

2. Investment Management Fee (AUM)

If we manage your investments, we charge 0.75%–1.25% annually, billed quarterly, based on assets.

This includes:

  • Portfolio management and rebalancing

  • Tax-aware investing

  • Full integration with your financial plan

How It Changes Over Time

Once you reach $200,000 in assets under management:

  • The monthly planning fee is eliminated

  • Financial planning is fully included in the AUM fee

Advice-Only Planning

For the DIY investor who wants a second brain—not a middleman.

This service is built for people who like to stay in control of their investments but want professional guidance to make smarter decisions. You’re comfortable managing your portfolio—but you also know that financial planning goes far beyond picking funds.

We act as your strategic partner, helping you think through the decisions that actually move the needle.

What this includes:

  • Retirement planning and income strategy

  • Tax-efficient withdrawal and Roth conversion planning

  • Investment allocation guidance (you implement)

  • Risk management and insurance review

  • Ongoing decision support as life evolves

You keep full control. We bring clarity, structure, and a disciplined framework to help you avoid costly mistakes.

Full-Service Planning & Investment Management

For those who want to delegate and have it handled—correctly.

This is for clients who don’t want to be in the weeds. You value your time, and you want a trusted partner designing, implementing, and managing your entire financial life.

We don’t just give advice—we execute it.

What this includes:

  • Everything in Advice-Only Planning

  • Professional investment management and rebalancing

  • Tax-aware portfolio design and implementation

  • Coordination with your CPA and estate attorney

  • Ongoing monitoring, adjustments, and proactive planning

This is a fully integrated relationship. One place where your investments, taxes, and long-term plan all connect—and are continuously optimized.

Business Exit Planning

For established owners preparing to turn their business into a life-changing liquidity event.

Selling a business isn’t just a transaction—it’s a transition. The difference between an average exit and a great one often comes down to preparation, positioning, and tax strategy years before the sale.

We help you maximize what you’ve built—and make sure you keep as much of it as possible.

What this includes:

  • Business valuation and value acceleration strategies

  • Pre-sale financial and operational optimization

  • Deal structure analysis (asset vs. stock sale, earnouts, etc.)

  • Tax minimization strategies before and after the sale

  • Retirement income planning post-exit

  • Coordination with attorneys, CPAs, and deal teams

This is about more than selling a business. It’s about converting years of work into long-term financial independence—with a clear plan for what comes next.

Business Planning

For owners in the early or growth phase who need structure, clarity, and profitability.

Most businesses don’t fail because of bad ideas—they fail because there’s no clear plan tying revenue, expenses, and long-term strategy together. This service is designed to turn a moving business into a disciplined, profitable system.

We help you build the engine—and then make sure it runs efficiently.

What this includes:

  • Business plan design (revenue model, pricing, cost structure)

  • Cash flow and profitability optimization

  • Owner compensation and tax strategy

  • Systems for tracking KPIs and financial performance

  • Decision-making framework for growth (hiring, expansion, reinvestment)

  • Ongoing accountability and execution support

This isn’t theory. It’s about building a business that consistently generates profit, supports your life, and compounds over time.
