How Do Fees Work?
At In The Money Retirement Planning, we believe in transparent, straightforward pricing. We are a fee-only firm, which means we don’t earn commissions or sell products—our only compensation comes directly from our clients, ensuring our advice is always in your best interest.
We offer three primary service models:

Comprehensive Planning & Investment Management: Ongoing, full-service support—including financial planning, tax strategy, investment management, and regular reviews—Ranging from .7% -1.25% depending on level of assets being managed. Asset minimum of 200k.

Financial Planning-Only (Flat Monthly Fee)::For clients who prefer to manage their own investments but still want personalized financial guidance, we offer a Financial Planning-Only package. Fee: $99-$1,000/month, with onboarding fee of $2,000.

Hourly Planning (Pay by the hour)::For clients who prefer to meet hourly to have some work done on a specific topic. We charge $200/hour.
All fees are clearly outlined before any work begins. No surprises. No hidden costs. Just trusted, professional advice—tailored to your life.
If your net worth is less than $1M and you are under 40 years old, ask us about our Wealth Builder package. Fees for this service start between $99-$299/month and are offered on a limited basis.

Fee-Only & Fiduciary If you have spoken to a financial advisor before there is a strong chance that you have spoken with a Stockbroker and/or insurance representative who receives a hefty commission check for a product they are selling. The fees of commission-based agents and brokers are tied to specific products and transactions. This model misses completely much of what clients need. Although even commission-based agents can serve their clients in unique ways, product commissions seem a backhanded way to acquire comprehensive wealth management.
Fiduciary

No Commissions. No Surrender Fees. Unlike much of the Financial Industry, I do not sell commissioned products. No Surrender Fees Ever.
